As soon as I read the title I figured I'd say 'The Green Mile' as well.
John Tucker Must Die.
He didn't die, and just the overall tone the movie is grotesque. High school movies FTL.
Xiu Xiu the Sent Down Girl is always the far and away "winner" in this category. It will leave you feeling angry, helpless and hollow.
Million Dollar Baby was the most depressing movie I've seen.solidsnakeEx3
That's my all time favorite movie. It's really great. :) It is sad, though.
I've seen quite a few movies, but I've never seen one that depressed the hell out of me like this:
I mean, seriously...what a total downer. :(
lackawanna blues
passion of the christ
pursuit of happiness
and beileve or not Duma  i loved that movie

birdge to taribithia the only movie to make me actually cry was a kids movie....fl4tlined
Oh, man that killed me. I had no idea it was that sort of movie.
Little Children was pretty sad, though I can't remember why.
The movie that depressed me most was Lucky Number Slevin. It was so horrible that I regreted watching it for all the following week.
I can't believe that no one's mentioned Grave of The Fireflies.
On the part when he burns her body, I don't think I'll ever be able to stop crying...ever.
We had to watch Sound of Music in music class. I wanted to stab myself. :|Powerhitter0418
"My Favourite Things" is probably my favorite jazz standard and one of my favorite songs. The Dave Brubeck take on that song is amazing! I do find the actual movie boring though :P
Most depressing movie I've ever seen? Samurai X: Trust and Betrayal. Not technically a movie but it certainly flows like one.
A Better Tomorrow :cry:Fidel1923
I shed a tear at the end of that movie, partly because of how sad it was at the end and partly because of how epicly awesome the shootout at the end was. It's funny how I never shed a tear in a movie like "The Notebook" but high adrenaline action movies with much ass kicking sometimes get to me. This one as well as "The Killer". Christ, The Killer was awesome "Mickey Mouse!!!!!".
