I have been wondering this for a while now, i ask all my friends that have a 360 but they just say "i dont know", so if you will tell me what the Power Brick is for I would greatly appriciate it.

It takes the raw, unwieldy power coming from the socket and gently massages it into a gentle, even mass that's carefully passed on to and inserted into your 360, which is converts into an awful lot of thermal energy.
