What Is Ultimate Zombie Killing Weapon?

I think it's the bolt-/lever action sniper rifle. It makes you use each shot carefully, increasing the chances of a hit and making you conserve ammo (unless you purposely waste ammo). good for long range and close range (bayonet) combat.

Note: This is for both type of zombies, fast and slow.

The BFG9000 of course.

The best weapon against a zombie is one you don't need to reload. :)

They were made to cleave through helmets, so cleaving through a skull would be easy.

can be used at a variety of ranges, from hundreds of yards to less than 100 yards
can be mounted to a variety of structures and vehicles
while it chews through ammo, the 5.56 round is found in abundance just about everywhere so its easy to stockpile.
and, perhaps best of all, it could chew through a few thousands zombies in a matter of seconds.

Put yourself in a barricaded, multilevel house with a minigun or two put on a track mount on the roof and youre set so long as you send scouting parties to pick up ammo (oh, and the minigun could go on the vehicle youre sending out)

theres like four forts within 30 minutes of where I live, and iirc Vandenberg AFB is an hour south of me. I'd likely be able to find a minigun, but I'd settle for a few M60s, SAWs, or M249s.

Something automatic, belt fed, and decent range.
