What is up with energy drinks?

people like caffeine apparently

energy drinks are for people who don't like coffee. Instead of going to starbucks for an overpriced coffee, they go to 711 and get an overpriced Red Bull.

Caffeine doesn't really effect me that much. I just drink them for the taste, and I'm sure high-media advertisement has pulled me in, also.Kratos764

People need energy. What's your problem? People like energy drinks, if you don't thats fine. Don't drink them and quit telling others about your troubles with what people drink. Grow up.

Well, people who actually make sense would easily be able to comprehend it.

It has a double meaning, one is that ma-huang is the primary ingrediant in those types of beverages, it's a triple dose of ephedra basically, overdue it, and it has been proven to lead to heart attack, strokes, and many other fun things, since it contricts blood vessels while increasing blood pressure (not a great combination), it's a legal stimulant.

The second meaning, well, say the entire thing out loud, and get a laugh from it.

i don't like energy drinks really, they taste odd, i haven't drank more than probably a shot full in my life. I did hear that apple's provide the same energy boost as coffee in the morning. I myself prefer a nice cup of green tea when i wake up.
