I could go on for days and days about my favorite movies from all sorts of genres. But just to keep it short and sweet I'll go with one of my standout favorites.

While I'm a bit of a movie buff because I love and appreciate movies from various genres, countries, directors, decades, etc., I can easily say that Vertigo [1958] is my absolute favorite movie of all time. In my eyes, it's damn near flawless.

This is easily my favourite movie of all time and I can watch it again and again without getting bored of it. The ending with the fire ladder still has me laughing to this day.

That's tough, it's pretty much a tie between all of the classic trilogy, Fight Club, No Country for Old Men, The Dark Knight, and Spider-man 2.

I am unable to choose one, which is why I usually list ten at a time. The list changes daily:

Sans Soleil

Yi Yi

Last Life in the Universe

Jules and Jim

8 1/2

Vertigo

Pierrot le Fou

Early Summer

2001: A Space Odyssey

Citizen Kane

I cant just name 1, that would be impossibe. So instead I will name 10 because I can:D

1. The Man Who Would Be King

2. Blade Runner

3. City of God

4. Once Upon a time in America

5. Army of Shadows

6. Battle of Algiers

7. Paths of Glory

8. Let The Right One in

9. Get Carter ( The One with Michael Caine, not the crappy Stallone version)

10. The Seven Samurai

Keep in mind that this list changes all the time.

Has to be The Matrix, *hides from film-guy*, not because it's so deep or anything, the action scenes are just, out of this world. Imo no other movie, not even matrix 2 and 3 comes close to the action scenes of the Matrix. I actually hated the fighting in episode 2 and 3, they just seemed more like dancing than fighting, no real power behind the punches just choreography and silly CGI.

Travo, we're somewhat close in age, how many times did you see ESB in the theaters? I made my dad take me 8-9 times, and on like the 7th time we rented out the theater for my birthday. Luckily pop's loves SW too.

Beauty and the Beast was my childhood fave. XDms_nintendo

Awesome! Another Beauty and the Beast fan! :D That movie is a contender for one of my favorites.

Other contenders are:

The Dark Knight

Dazed and Confused

Gladiator

Wall-E

Pulp Fiction

Casino Royale

The Prestige

And pretty much a lot of Disney and Pixar films. ^_^

Also, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was an amazing film, but I have to let that sink in more to see if I enjoyed it enough to be one of my favorites.
