Yeah, they were pretty big until everybody decided to kill everybody else.
Um, mostly Irish on my mothers side. We've been told we have some Australian Aboriginal relatives, and I kinda see it in some relatives but Im not sure how strong it is. On my fathers side I think it is mostly English and Scottish. Our surname is a bit of an enigma to me. It seems to have a somewhat Irish heritage, however we've seen it used in a book referring to a group of villages in Scandinavia hundreds and hundreds of years ago, so perhaps that's where it originated. I was also told by someone that we have Danish relatives, so that makes sense.
I'm three-quarters Scandinavian and one-quarter French. I also have a small amount of Native American heritage, but I don't know what tribe it is.
The funny thing is, when I think of a person of Scandinavian ancestry, it's a person with pale skin, blond hair, and blue eyes, none of which I possess. Well, I guess my skin is pale, but it's not paper white. I have an olive skin tone, dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair. Also, I have high cheekbones and a long-shaped face; my mom said those traits are from my small trace of Native American heritage.
I guess my physical appearance came mostly from my French (only 1/4 of my ancestry) and Native American (very scant) heritage, yet I'm 75% (3/4) Scandinavian.:?
Im Mexican but since people love to break it down soo much i am like 7/8 Spanish, 1/8 Indian as in Native since my great grandpa was pure Native
Well.
1/2 French Canadian (both of my fathers parents)
1/4 English (mothers father)
1/4 Scotish (mothers mother)
I'd have to go back to 1688 to reach France french, that was when the first came from Lucon in France.
I'm pretty lucky to have a complete family tree on my fathers side :)
norweigan, and german, more importantly however I'm Canadian. And I have dual citizenship to the U.S.
Mainly southern Slavic (bosnian, serbian) might have some hungarian in me too or I could be confusing it with bulgarian. That's it.
