I'd just prefer that my phone doesn't make noise at all. It's rather irritating to me. It's just that people like my sister have literally spent around $20 on crappy ring tones, and for what it's worth, I 'd rather not have to pay money to bleed my ears out. I'd certainly rather not have someone else pay to do just that to me. I can't count the number of times some ditsy girl in class had her phone go off with the volume as loud as possible as if to show off her ring tone.

I just use some default ringer.

My phone is usually on silent or vibrate anyway, so it doesn't really matter what it is...though I've been thinking of getting "Mustang Sally." :P I love that song.

There are sites that offer free ringtones. I got mine off a free site.

I've got way too many to list, as i've assigned custom ringtones to each person in my phone.

my default ring for people not in my phone is Priestess - Run Home, the last chorus. I've never payed for ringtones, as i've always got a phone that supports "custom" ringtones. Put the song on the phone, and clip whatever part you want as a ringtone, and save. boom, you're done. and nobody else has that ringtone either.

Phonezoo.com is also great for that. You can make your own, too
