Mans Search for Meaning, Walden, & Slaughterhouse-five are 3 that I don't think I will get sick of re-reading every now and then
[QUOTE="my_mortal_coil"]Must be a really good book20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. I have read it countless times.

It is. It's a Sci-Fi book from the late Nineteenth century. It's about all these rumours about some "Sea Creature" attacking ships on the High Seas. The US Government puts forth an expedition to find, identify and eliminate the scourge. The unknown "Creature" attacks the ship and three of the passengers end up being captured.
The "Creature" turns out to be a submarine led by Captain Nemo, who is mad at all the leaders of the world and decided to leave the politics of man behind forever by creating his own home under the sea ... Does this sound familiar? Captain Nemo is basically the inspiration for Andrew Ryan from Bioshock.
The three "prisoners" end up going around the world in this submarine called the Nautilis and are caught up in a great adventure.
It's a bit old but reading the original instead of spin-offs or watching the story (I think Disney did it back in the '70's or '80s) is HIGHLY recommended. Jules Verne was a prophetic and fantastic a storyteller as Isaac Asimov or Niven.
Same here. That book is majestic. I also really enjoyed reading the Lotr trilogy and most of Tolkien's other work. The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien I've read it aleast 10 times.

I haven't really read anything more than once... I don't like knowing the outcomes of things. Maybe in 20 years when I've forgotten I'll read stuff again.
Soooo lonnggg, that's what is putting me off reading it.The Count of Monte Cristo. Favorite book ever.

There's an abridged version as well. I think it's like 300 pages as opposed to 1200 or 1300 pages. I read the abridged version first and then ventured into the monstrously long version. It's so worth the read though. At least check out the abridged,
Starship troopers by Robert Heinlein. The great and secret show by clive barker, anything by Ernest Hemingway.mattykovaxI love The Great and Secret Show. I read that rather fast.

I agree with Man's Search for Meaning, what a great book. I'm too busy trying to catch up on all the books I want to read right now though, no time for rereading.
I don't have any one book that I read over and over again, but I am a big fan of Zmbi_survival. So I spend most my time reading books on this subject. If your a fan of this genre then you should pick up Patient Zero by Jonathan Mayberry. I'm enjoying it very much right now.
I don't like reading books over and over again.
But I love Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, and 1984.
