that is an awesome song.i feel kinda un-original for choosing a song by zeppelin, but it truly is awesome :PAll time probably a clapton song with derek and the dominos (tell the truth), but atm its working man by rush
Hard to pick just one. Used to be Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd but I've listened to that so many times now that it's on the back burner until I recharge. I'll just list a few songs I've been listening to a lot:
Pink Floyd - Dogs
Genesis - Tonight, Tonight, Tonight
The Who - Eminence Front
Oh God there are at least a few here:
Jimi Hendrix-The Wind Cries Mary
Stevie Ray Vaughan-Little Wing
The Who-Baba O'Riley
The Rolling Stones-Paint It Black
Golden Earring-Radar Love
The Outlaws-Green Grass and High Tides
Lynard Skynard-Freebird
i know me too..Jimi Hendrix- Voodoo Child(Slight Return)
Creedence Clearwater Revival- Born on the Bayou
The Doors- L.A Woman
Pink Floyd- Wish You Were Here
I could go on.....
FFCYAN

Prolly that one from Uriah Heap about making love to some wizard, it's called WizardKiIIyou
*faints*
I didn't think anyone else here knew who Uriah Heep was. I have the CD Wizards and Demons.
On topic, there are so many good song choices from so many bands that could be considered Classic Rock that I couldn't list them all in this thread.
Either Immigrent dong by Led Zeppelin or Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones.rangegear
Typo of the year here.
I really like the version of Immigrant Song that is on the How The West Was Won CD set. There is a killer riff in there.

I own everything by Zeppelin and have listened to it all. A couple of years ago, I bought the replica album sleeve CD set that even has the turning wheel disk that was part of Zeppelin III when it was released in album (read vinyl) form along with the 6 album covers of In Through The Out Door (it came in a brown paper wrapper when released so you didn't know which cover you were getting).
I am loving all the picks in this thread! I got the symbols from Led Zeppelin IV on my arm over two years ago cause its my favorite album. Stairway To Heaven being the best from that record. Best Zeppelin song and quite possibly the best song ever. Only thing that rivals it in my opinion is Achilles Last Stand.
You so lucky! I want that!

Ten Years Gone by Led ZeppelinAgent-Zero
When thinking of classic rock songs, this comes to mind immediately as my favourite.
However when including classic prog rock, it would be Scorched Earth by Van Der Graaf Generator. This is probably my favourite song from the era, at least for the last month or so.
