Pretty please...I was gonna say the M1 Garand to, purely for the "ting* noise it makes when it's empty, but since that's been said...
Dragunov!
I wouldn't mind one of these:A Heat ray gun.Maqda7
That´s not a gun, read thread title. =]
In military parlance, a gun is a muzzle or breech-loaded projectile-firingweapon. There are various definitions depending on the nation and branch of service. A "gun" may be distinguised from otherfirearmsin being acrew served weaponsuch as ahowitzerormortar, as opposed to a small arm like arifleorpistol.
In modern parlance, a gun is aprojectileweaponusing a hollow, tubularbarrelwith a closed end—the breech—as the means for directing the projectile as well as other purposes—an expansion chamber for propellant, stabilizing the projectile's trajectory, aiming, etc.—and assumes a generally, flat trajectory for the projectile.
Retry, what is your favourite gun? =]

Fine x_X The AK-47. Happy now?Yeah, but you can't shoot through 7 Walls! with one round. :p-eddy-Neither can the 50., the projectile disintegrates due to its own velocity, the kinetic energy tears it apart much faster than projectiles fired from weapons with slower velocity. Firing a glock into a pool of water, and you will see the 9mm bullet reach a much further distance compared to the 50., where the projectile practically splits into a thousand pieces near instantaneously as it breaks the surface.

Water is a different material. a .50 BMG round can shoot through concrete, a 9mm pistol cannot. But a .50 BMG would shatter when fired in water, whereas a 9mm pistol would not. Penetration depends entirely on the material you are firing at. Yes... I saw that mythbusters episode too

I thought .50 can/did penetrate concrete walls :s they boast it can penetrate an engine block
:3
The United States Coast Guard uses the Barrett M82 rifle for drug interdictions. Effective interdiction requires that personnel on Coast Guard cutters be able to deliver accurate fire to stop high-speed drug runners. Similarly, Barrett M82 rifles have attracted attention from law enforcement agencies; they have been adopted by the New York City Police Department. If it becomes necessary to immobilize a vehicle, a .50 BMG round in the engine block will shut it down quickly. If it is necessary to breach barriers, a .50 BMG round will penetrate most commercial brick walls and concrete blocks.

I thought .50 can/did penetrate concrete walls :s they boast it can penetrate an engine blockJaguar_ShadeIt can penetrate almost anything, its practically a lightplated vehicle buster, but the thing is, beyond taking out infantry, it carries the design to make a guaranteed breach and shatter, to create a splash effect for maximum collateral damage. Then again, if its uranium tipped bullets, it will just about go thru anything. =| But we dont use those kind of bullets, now do we. =d

you have the M4 as your favourite gun, your opinion is void. =d[QUOTE="BiancaDK"][QUOTE="Bonesdb69"]I think the Tankal AK74S wouldve been a better choiceBonesdb69
would you prefer this?
Big pistols defeat the purpose of a pistol. Like making a laptop the size of a motorbike.

I agree, but you don't even have to shoot that gun to win a gun fight.

True, the time it takes you to get it out and pull the hammer back you'd already die of exhaustion. :3

Yeah but the other person would die from a heart attack from seeing you pull that beast out.
Or they'd die of laughter. Good luck keeping a monster like that steady with your hands, forget double tapping shots. What happens when you need to reload? Does a pit crew come out and change the ammo? :3Jaguar_Shade
You have a good point, think I'll have to settle for the swiss mini gun
