What is your favorite modern day band?

What is it? You can't say old bands that weren't formed in the last few years. Like LJS couldn't say The Cure, or Samwel couldn't say Nine inch nails.

For me its 3 days grace, excellent band and everyone of their songs is awesome!

My other favorite bands are Iron maiden and Rush and every other good band or artist out there, but for new stuff, 3 days grace is the best!

They need more support than more well established bands like Iron maiden or Rush or Led zeppelin or whatever.

Also: I'd like a 3 days grace avatar and sig.

Opeth. Mikael Akerfeldt is a good guitarist, great vocalist, and astounding song writer.blooddemon666

But the other guitarist (forgot his name) left and that guy from I think Arch Enemy is filling his spot, so hopefully they can still be as awesome as they were before.

I had never heard of Red till a few days  ago, but apprently theyre a chrisitan band thats very similar to Linkin Park.. which happens to be my favorite band...   Its gonna be so kick ass.

On another note, im pissed that LP decided to skip Tennessee on their Projekt Revoloution tour.... :evil:

Akerfeldt, in my opinion, is possibly the greatest vocalist right now, in any genre. I'd say either Becoming the Archetype, Nile, Opeth, or Decapitated. Can't decide.

Yeah, Opeth falls into the lighter side of my music. If you don't count Dashboard Confessional, Coheed and Cambria, or Emery. I am so damn eclectic.
