What is your favorite movie of 2009?

Mine would be either Taken or the new transformers.

Moon, was my favorite.

Inglourious Basterds. Although if The Book of Eli had come out a few days earlier, it would be my choice.

Probably Star Trek or District 9.

I didn't like the new Transformers. Call me a geek, but I really liked the 6th Harry Potter movie. (No, don't ask. I hate Twilight)

Inglourious Basterds or Star Trek. If I had to choose I'd say Inglourious Basterds.

Avatar, District 9, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, and The Hurt Locker take the cake.

I'm very fond of romantic films and it's extremely rare to find a good, modern romance film, without being too cheesy and more realistic.

Inglourious Basterds...i didn't much like District 9 and i never got a chance to see Avatar or many other 09' movies..

Its between Taken, Star Trek and District 9 for me. They're so good that I cant really favor one over the others.

The Hurt locker almost made my list, however the part with the kid at the base near the end brought the film down a bit. I understand the point of it, it just didn't work very well to me. Still though it was a great film.

Seriously, World's Greatest Dad was a great movie. Best dark comedy in a while. Also, was I the only one that didn't like Up in the Air that much?
