i've asked you guys about your favorite junkfood, normal food and even drinks!
Now i want your oppinion on the healthy stuff!
Mine would probably be the orange as it is healthy and tasty!
Probably apple...love the strawberry taste as well but I don't like fruit that just disintegrates when you bite into it =P
I think my favorite fruit is a strawberry.
I'm less certain about a vegetable, potatoes are an obvious choice, but TC said he wanted healthy stuff. Hmm I think maybe a nice red bell pepper, or peas perhaps. Both are nice on their own, and both can be an excellent ingredient. Also I really like cucumbers as an ingredient for salad and sandwiches, but I sort of hate them on their own.
@Serraph105: cucumbers are also a really popular ingredient in asian culture :3 and tastes awesome in combination with their cooking style and spices!
Oh yeah they're awesome for asian style foods as well.

I just remembered that there's a Vietnamese restaurant near me and now I really want to go there for lunch.
In this order: Strawberries, apples, oranges, grapefruit, raspberries, grapes, blue berries
I've never met a vegetable that I like. Edit: other than potatoes.
I love all sorts of vegetables. I'm a bit more selective when it comes to fruits.
My favorite vegetables are: Onion, garlic, potato, lettuce, tomato, eggplants, radish, bell pepper, broccoli, cucumber, green bean etc.
My favorite fruits are: Watermelon, apple, lemon, fig, pear, pomegranate, orange, kiwifruit, grapes, melon, banana etc.
I don't know what category olive falls into. Nevertheless it's my favorite edible thing in the world.
EDIT: Oops. I forgot turnip and beep. Somehow Soviet Union reminded me of them... Hmm. Strange...
NOBODY, absolutely NOBODY has a "favorite" vegetable.
Isn't Pizza a vegetable? If so then I have one for sure.
Most likely apples, especially if you dip apple slices in caramel sauce.
Then I think bananas. Not a whole lot else I love that much for fruit, maybe strawberries I like too.
Vegetables, probably the only exception is potatoes. Let's face it, there's like, NO GREENS that taste good, at all.
Onion. In/on everything.
A good onion makes the burger, and the hot dog. A buttered, grilled onion is great by itself. Throw some onions in the frying pan before throwing your meat/taters/whatevah in for +1.
There's white onion, red onion, baby onions...all kinds of onions. Won't you please adopt just one?
@br0kenrabbit: and vegetable
It's a fruit that's treated as a vegetable, but it's a fruit.
@br0kenrabbit: Fruits are a type of vegetable. Do some research:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/vegetable
1. Any plant whose fruit, seeds, roots, tubers, bulbs, stems, leaves, or flower parts are used as food, as the tomato, bean, beet, potato, onion, asparagus, spinach, or couliflower
No, fruit and vegetables have a distinct difference, but all fruit plants also have vegetables parts (leaves, stems, etc). What we're talking about is the edible part. A fruit is the fertilized, mature flowering part of the plant.
Also, fruits want you to eat them, vegetables don't. Fruit seeds are surrounded by the pericarp which forms from the ovary. It's the pericarp from which you derive sustenance, not the seeds. The fruit wants to be eaten so you poop out its seeds.
Vegetables on the other hand, you're actually digesting the seeds.
That's like the most basic thing a cook should know...
But shouldn't you throw some onions in the frying pan AFTER throwing your meat in and heating it a bit? That way you won't end up with burned onion pieces...

Burnt, no...caramelized, yes.
