Like the title implies, what is the nearest shop where you buy your groceries?

[QUOTE="broken_bass_bin"]Are people allowed to park their caravans in the lot outside like they are at Walmart? That would make your view even better.Tesco... the British equivalent of Walmart.
I can see it from my bedroom window. What a view.

No, sadly not. I can only dream of such a pleasant view. :(
There's a store across the street (looking at it now actually), for juice and beer and chips. For actual groceries, we go to Walmart. There's a local chain here that I'd rather shop at because I don't like feeding the evil Walmart machine, but they're groceries are almost always 8% higher than Walmart, even their "on-sale" items.

Don't you mean ASDA is the equivalent?
There are two small shops near me along with a hotel, but I shop at ASDA or Morissons.
Well, ASDA is the equivalent in the sense that it is owned by Walmart.
But Tesco is the equivalent in the sense that it is overwhelmingly dominating the marketplace and is shameless in its displays of anti-competitive behaviour.
There's a Food City across the street, but all they have is mexican food so I go a mile down the road to Fry's, a big ol american supermarket
I have a Walgreen's 3 blocks away from me that I lazily use instead of going to a proper grocery store sometimes.
