When I see a REALLY fat person, typically I feel bad for them. Sometimes (from the little I understand) over-eating is similar to being an alcoholic/drug user. Typically the over-eating is just a symptom of an issue and not the issue itself.

Some people eat when depressed and get depressed because they are overweight.

a vicious cycle :o

Don't have an opinion on them. You can't just judge people like that when you don't know their background.

I don't really care if someone is overweight. Not sure why anyone would unless it's someone they know or something.

It kinda annoys me how the current trend in TV is to make fat people feel okay about being overweight by creating an image that being fat is okay and that fat girls are sexy and they should be proud of their weight.PernicioEnigma

Im fat and its my fault but quite frankly I dont care. The fact that I am overweight does not keep me from doing anything I want. Sure I cant run a marathon but then again I never wanted to.

It's none of anybody's business but theirs... We start judging everybody for every imperfection and no one would be happy...

Assuming it's of their doing, as long as they realize that they're the largest factor in associated potential health risks, I don't really care what they wear, do, eat, etc. There's nothing wrong with having a little extra, but there's a limit and beyond that I find unattractive; that doesn't mean I won't befriend them though. There is a fraction that genuinely can't help it, and that I do have more sympathy towards.

There's people who're TRYING to get morbidly obese. Eventually they get to be "disabled", and get free money. Meanwhile people continue to starve. Yea, there's nothing wrong with eating more than a normal person

That is one example, the woman clearly has issues. Obviously there are extreme people but this kind of thing is rare.

There is always this uneasiness, when I pass these massive colossus in public. They violated, without hesitation, the way of the samurai. Their loud breathing is a constant reminder of the fragility and finiteness of our human nature. I maybe won't agree with their style of life (or sweat, or the place they need to exist), but I would die for their right to express their philosophy of carpe diem, i.e. eat your six-storied hamburger overkill already today instead of tomorrow. God save the fat and the future me.

fat people are not to be judged by their physical appearances. For sure some of them are way better than those who are claiming to be fit and healthy....

I have always wanted to try to jump on one of their stomaches like a trampoline to see if it actually works.
