What is your school like??

Sooo school starts for me tommorow and to be honest i wish summer lasted way longerr. i mean im happy to meet new people and **** like that but i hate my school soooooo much. its so dang ghetto and theres fights there like everyday. and it has some of the rudest people in the world. one thing i am always happy about school is that most of the girls there are HOTTT maybe i can get a girl now that im single again. OOOO and i almost forgot about the homework. We get homework Every single day of the dang year omg i hate homework. if it wasnt for homework i would get 4.00 Gpa's every year. Sooo what is youre school like???

We had about 10 fights last week. Only saw 3 of them. 8) My school has budget problems so you could imagine it sucks.

It's great, but it's a real hipster den. I tend to avoid the student café because of that.

I don't know yet. I start tomorrow and it's a new school. But knowing the people I've gone to school with in recent years, it'll be full of drugs, sex, violence, and rampant racism.

If I would grade it from 1 to 10

Facilities: 5/10

Teaching: 9/10

Washrooms: 2/10 (full of pee :lol:)

School Talents: 3/10 (really, not that I'm jealous, they're overrated)

I went to a high school in the lower valley, which was considered ghetto, as a transfer student so I could attend the health professions academy they offered. Stereotypically, it was known for cholos, pregnant girls and low testing scores among other things. The HP and its students kind of stuck together as a collective, and my experience being there honestly was significantly different than from what was referred to as "the main building". Of course there were plenty of smart kids not in the HP, but for the most part it seemed like they didn't care. Supposedly my high school has gone slightly to Hell since the 2010 class graduated, but I wouldn't really know about that. Just do your work and wait until college; it gets better.

The University I go to is super friendly. There are a lot of techies (its a computer science/engineering school) and everyone you meet will bend over backwards to help you out if you need it. The parties are fun but never get too out of control. The campus is stunning with a very modern design. The teachers are also very friendly and fair. The only down side is that they give a lot of work and the cost is high, like most colleges. It may sound like it but Im not a college recruit I just really enjoy it here.

My College is pretty normal...Nothing exciting really. Sometimes a person gets mugged or their car gets keyed. Pretty much expected at any college htough.

-New Building
-One of the best in the state
-Very small 1,500 student tops
-No real violence and no gang presence
-High Percentage of students Graduate
-High Percentage of students go on to four year universities

College

-I commute to college ,but the people who live on campus seem to like it.

Well, it's filled with idiots and jerks but it's a good school barley any fights and such.

Sounds just like my school! We seriously have like 98% white people. And pretty much everyone graduates, and ~90% go to college. My school is big on alcohol, not so much the marijuana and such though.

I just graduated this year but my high school was alright. A lot of gangsters and skaters and drug use and pregnant people.....but it was good enough. I'm not sure about the dropout rate but I know it's a bit of a problem there. It's not a bad school and it was pretty big with about 2000 people I think. It looked like a castle which was the coolest part.

Yea, the local private school has the same drugs we do. The only difference is that they cost more lol.

My old one had a real old feel to it, very diverse as well. Loved a lot of the people but it had drugs, gangs, and it's fair amount of problems.

Now I go to one which is much less diverse (mainly white with a sizable Hispanic population), VERY small especially for the size of the student body, tons of drugs and parties (even a high school fraternity, which is never good). But overall it's a safer environment than my old one and I love the people here.

My college is a pretty typical state university, I suppose. There are nearly 15,000 students. The campus is nice and a good size (not too big, not too small). The buildings are adequate. It's clean. The people are pretty nice overall...basically everyone is from North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Manitoba, or they're international students. There's probably an average amount of drinking and pot smoking. I wouldn't say that it's worse or better than the average school. The academic programs are pretty decent, especially engineering, architecture, agriculture, computer science, and pharmacy.

My high school had about 1,300 students. All of the programs were pretty much the best in the city and maybe even the state. It was relatively clean and friendly and not overly cliquey. There was a bit of a drug 'problem,' I guess you could say. Overall it was pleasant enough for a high school.

My school is run like a Nazi concentration camp.
