What job do you have or want to have?

I'm only 14 so don't have any job yet but when I turn 18 I will enlist in the Marines and join the infantry. I have planned this since I was 3 but at certain points I wanted to be a special forces op, a sniper, a Combat engineer, a Platoon laeader, but now that I'm older I realize the perfect thig for me will be the infantry, and that I will not go to college and become an officer, that won't happen.

I don't really want to have any other job besides the Marines, so I think I'll stay in as long as I possibly can.

So what job do you have or want to have?

well that defienitly seemed to work out in the end.

I think (and hope) you will have an epiphany about a military career Nick. You will one day realise that war is not a game and is not something that can be taken so lightheartedly. I myself hope this happens before you end up out on the battlefield in some hole waiting to die.

I really don't know what kind of career I am leaning towards. I am going for my B.A. in History and will probably end up in a field where those kinds of degrees are beneficial.

I know war is not a game, I mean I was brought up knowing that since I have so many veteran relatives and family friends that all fought in WW2 and Korea and Vietnam ETC although they note that war is not a game none of them are actually messed up or anything.

Even though I know first hand about war, its kind of in the family tradition to serve in the military, I even have ancestors who served with Napoleon and one was even one of his Leutenants.

The only difference this time is, were at a more critical point in history, no not Iraq but more wars loom on the horizon.

Now I work at my mom's office = Its alright. Pay is good.
