Which philosophy books have you read or which are your favorites?Ray Bradbury's books are raved as great sci-fi novels. Maybe check them out. Within that genre I can only speak for 1984 and it is a must read for every human being in my opinion.Mainly fantasy and mystery. I want to expand on the sci-fi genre as well.

A bit of everything except romance focused books and religious books. I wanted to buy a Koran but my bookstore didn't have it.

The Carl Sagan book looks interesting to me. I have read a book on a similar premise to "Breaking the Spell":What Romance books do you read? I haven't read a single Romance book as far as I know.I read just about anything, though least favorite genre is probably Romance, and Prefered Genre is Sci-Fi fiction & Fantasy as well as Non-Fiction.

Think I've read a few Twilight, Howling Moon, and Howl at the Moon. Not sure if I read anymore then that or not out of those one I thought was decent was howling Moon.

Awesome, what'd you think of the movies? They were actually pretty good adaptations. My favorite has to be the first, the third and the fifth.
If you don't read books then what form of media do you use to satisfy your intellectuality?I dont read books

Why do you read so many books about religion being bad if you are confident in your atheism? Mystic faith is so easily refuted and inconsequential that even one book seems gratuitous.[QUOTE="wis3boi"][QUOTE="EagleEyedOne"] Which philosophy books have you read or which are your favorites?Laihendi

Why do you read so many books about religion being bad if you are confident in your atheism? Mystic faith is so easily refuted and inconsequential that even one book seems gratuitous. It's called insecurity.Mainly literature of all kinds and non-fiction usually involving history. Typically it's ancient history, but lately some recommended books have landed me in American history involving the old West and my own interests have shoved me into books revolving around the early 1900s.Â

The Demon Haunted World is a real good read, and I've been waiting for a lull in my schedule to start Breaking the Spell, among other books. You have good taste, in my opinion.
Also, I enjoy Stephen King, and that's about it for fiction novels these days. I used to read a lot of fantasy, Brooks, Tolkein, Salvatore, Greenwood, etc...but not so much anymore.
