I don't get it. the movie just might have been the raunchiest goriest blood soaked rape infested piece of crap i have ever seen. it was just a night out at the movies so i didnt really care, we were just chilling. So we bought tickets to TMNT because im 16 but when i walked into hills have eyes 2 there was a family with what looked like a 4 and 6 year old kids! WTF? I don't get these crazy people, sure i might not be able to get in but at least i can handle the content... someone tell me these kids are not gonna be traumatized for life. (may contain spoilers but this movie has no plot so its not like it matters) let me explain to you what was in this movie. the first scene a chick is dirty, tied down, and just looks messed up. shes giving birth and you see everything. the mutant guy pretty much rips out the baby and the cord thingy and then kills the chick. then theres a scene where another chick gets raped and a mutant guy has like a foot long tongue and sticks it down her throat. he then rapes her and spits on her. plus there's all the gruesome deaths. once a guy gets dragged into a hole but puts his leg on the side and pushes. the mutant is too strong and pulls the guy so hard his leg bends back and the guy gets yanked through. anoher guy was stabbed and forced into a porta potty. no one knew he was in there until someone went to the bathroom and he reached up and grabbed his balls. he was pulled out, covered in feces and eventually died.

Obviously the six year old will have nightmares. Good thing 4 year olds can't sit still for two seconds in this case.

It was like when I went to see Dawn of the Dead with my brother in the movie theater and some couple brought their young children to the movie.  It was utterly ridiculous.  Get a freaking babysitter.

Umm, these kids had to have been between 6 and 8. I wouldn't exactly say that would be appropriate. I work at an EBgames I get upset when parents buy GTA for their 10-year-old children.  I don't freak out on them though, but I do point out that it's not very appropriate for the age. I have nothing against video game violence, but children that young shouldn't be playing those games.

Why is that not appropriate? How is a game different based on age?

Bad parents lead to these kind of things such as, seeing innapropriate movies, games. Thats what gets me so pissed. People sew the companies when theres a simple solution, bad parenting.

It's not bad parenting, in the end it's the child that makes the final decision. Parents don't tell there kids to mock GTA games. People have a choice and for the most part they make the right one. I wasn't affected negatively by any games I played or movies I saw at a young age, neither were my friends.

I agree, I'm just trying to say parents should "monitor" their kids better.

Not only should they monitor them, but also mentor. They need to explain to them the keen differences between fantasy and reality.

not only are they forcing their kids to sit through an excessive amount of stuff they shouldn't be seeing at that age, but they are forcing their kids to watch one of the biggest piles of junk ever to be released as a film. 3 cheers for bad parenting...

what don't i get? the only point of that movie was to show excessive amounts of gore and sex, and i'm not sure how anything positive could come from a little kid seeing it.

What negative can come? Aside from a bad nightmare which can happen regardless of whether they saw the movie or not what truly negative side effect can something like that have? Unless your implying that 6 year olds are going to go and rape/murder or perhaps both people.

Let me ask a question, if my may...

What do you find more annoying, people who bring their 6 year olds to R-rated films, or people who bring their babies to ANY rated film?

No offense, but you sound a bit naive. I can't believe you can't understand why most people wouldn't want their kids to see things like rape and murder in a film such as this. It doesn't really need an explanation, does it?

Because little kids are able to make good decisions easily. M I RITE?:|

But you're right, it is good parenting to allow your kid to do something that they decided they wanted to do.:|

As I stated earlier neither me or my friends did anything irrational from watching these types of movies at a young age. Good decision? M I RITE?

:|That's not the point. It's something that shouldn't be viewed by anyone.

[QUOTE="Jumbo120788"][QUOTE="matrix_hiei"]not only are they forcing their kids to sit through an excessive amount of stuff they shouldn't be seeing at that age, but they are forcing their kids to watch one of the biggest piles of junk ever to be released as a film. 3 cheers for bad parenting...Jumbo120788

I give up some people just don't get it.

what don't i get? the only point of that movie was to show excessive amounts of gore and sex, and i'm not sure how anything positive could come from a little kid seeing it.

What negative can come? Aside from a bad nightmare which can happen regardless of whether they saw the movie or not what truly negative side effect can something like that have? Unless your implying that 6 year olds are going to go and rape/murder or perhaps both people.

No offense, but you sound a bit naive. I can't believe you can't understand why most people wouldn't want their kids to see things like rape and murder in a film such as this. It doesn't really need an explanation, does it?

The point I am trying to make is that it isn't bad parenting when someone decides to bring there kid along to a movie.

The point really isn't being made though. Just because you watched this sort of movie and wasn't affected by it, doesn't mean everyone else will be the same way. It's easy to look at it as bad parenting, as for one the movie isn't meant to be seen by 6 year olds anyway/

Bad parents lead to these kind of things such as, seeing innapropriate movies, games. Thats what gets me so pissed. People sew the companies when theres a simple solution, bad parenting.

^ Dr. Phil status! AGAIN

It's not bad parenting, in the end it's the child that makes the final decision. Parents don't tell there kids to mock GTA games. People have a choice and for the most part they make the right one. I wasn't affected negatively by any games I played or movies I saw at a young age, neither were my friends.
