PE classes in college. So many to choose. What sports and activities did you all pick? I'm interested in knowing. :P

As for me, I'm set up to take Self-Defense and my brother wants me to do Table Tennis. (Ping Pong! lol)

I wanted to take Judo, but the class times didn't fit the schedule I drew up.

(also, any advice from those who are into these: Judo, Aikido, Karate, Taekwondo, Self-Defense, and Tai Chi. Thanks!)

I don't have time in my schedule to take those types of classes in college. I just wake up around 6:30 and go work out at the rec center for exercise.

oh, well. That's good. :)

I, unfortunately, have 3 hours to kill before my brother finishes his classes and picks me up, so I thought I might as well do something. It's required that we take 2 semesters of PE.

Does contemporary physics count? People spend a lot of time running away from it.

You won't learn much in the martial arts classes in PE since it takes years and years to learn what the individual arts are really about. But it does give you a taste of what you could be learning if you decided to enroll in an actual class.

oh, yes. I understand. Thanks, Wushu.

I've always wanted to enroll into an outside class, but I'm just gonna try this out first...to get an idea if I really want to do it. :D

If so, then it's off to years of practice.

blagh. Count me in as one of those people. Thankfully, I'll only have to take 3 physics classes for my BS.

Also, different teachers will teach different methods. Even though a lot of the same martial arts are standardized, there will by slight differences between each school.

I'll keep this in mind.

Well, I'll try my best to learn what I can get and see where this takes me.
