Contraction of an old MUD name I used, but with a DJ because, well, I don't really remember. Someone called me it and it stuck.
I also earned the variant DJLay (thus my XBL tag, although it was partly due to MS being morons and not giving me my old tag back), which conjures all sorts of interesting mental images.
I was given the nicname "Chaos" at a nightclub where I used to work, and I went with the closer-to-the-original-spelling "xaos" for distinctiveness; I've used it as an ID everywhere I'm able ever since.
It's a nickname 2 of my buddies gave me. Apparently I'm sinister/evil looking and the goggles part is because of my somewhat thick glasses. I liked it so I stuck with it.

Matthew is my name, so thats where the Matty comes from. The FTM stands for two things, both relating to my football (soccer to americans) team - Sunderland. It stands for "Follow the Mackems" (the mackems are sunderland) and "F*** the Mags" (the Mags are sunderlands rivals, Newcastle).

Mine is from Airline Tycoon, I used it for Runescape because it sounds kinda medieval, I mostly use the this_is_phil or Beelzebufo for things now though (and you stole my sig :cry:)

i picked mine cuz i played GTR2 for like 5 hrs a day... realy fun, n still is, but shame i cant change it... wished i could change it to mfb412 (the name i use for EVERITHING)

I get that a lot, but nope, it's a transliteration of the Greek CAOS
I used to have the name katz for my love of cats and my love of replacing Cs with Ks. Then gamefaqs merged and I got compeltely pissed off at having to be "katz_01" while some jerk from gamefaqs who was completely inactive on forums but technecally came a couple months before me got the name katz. Since then, I've been kittykatz5k because it rolls of the toung and I despise names with random numbers at the end of them.
I was really hyped for Metroid Prime 3 at the time. Had I made my account a week or two later than I did, it would've been something completely non-videogame related, like maybe DrugLord666 or Heavy_Metal_Jesus or something.
