I don't know what it is but for some reason I would rather watch an Anime movie rather than a live action movie any day, what makes anime so appealing? It's just a bunch of drawlings right?
i don't think it's cool. in fact, the only anime i ever watched religiously was DBZ way back in the 4th grade. vegeta pwned though. don't know whats the big deal with all these anime shows. naruto is so... ugh. and inuyasha is even worse.

Maybe we don't care enough to go through all that trouble. Do you expect someone who doesn't like something to go out of his/her way to find a version of it that they can't even understand without subtitles?

I hate shows like Dragonball, it gives anime a bad image. It makes people think gay looking blond screaming guy kid show." There are TONS of adult aimed anime,
imo anyone who watches/plays/listens to/reads anything just because it's "cool" shouldn't do it in the first place...i watch anime because i enjoy the story, and characters, nto because it's "cool"
I love anime for the new fun, quirky, strange, and interesting stories that are told through the medium. I admire the drawings and the art of it too. But, mostly its the stories and characters. I love live action movies, also that are similar to this. To me it doesn't matter if live action or anime, as long it is good. Also, I like endings to my series, unlike live action tv shows that never end except when they get canceled.
I very seldom watch anime, but every once in awhile I will. I mostly just watch it because of the Japanese language. That's the whole point for me, I can't watch anime in Englsih. I would rather watch a Japanese show with real people anyday over anime though.
