I'm jsut wondering. Everyone here hated highschool ( as do i, im a junior) and say college is way better. Well how is it? I would find it much harder from what ive heard of and assume.

It depends on the person, but for me, the increased freedom in College is what makes it better.

I'm not in college but I'd think it's this+ only studying things you're supposed to like
If you don't know what you want to do after high school, then don't waste your time in college.
Get a job, save your money and enjoy your life - otherwise you could end up wasting years of your life and thousands of dollars.
For most people college is just another way to avoid the real world for a few years.
Your 20s are probably going to be the best years of your life, don't squander them taking policitical science or business adminstration.
The fact that you are on your own and can make all of your own decisions. Also you get a new start, and the classes are actually worthwhile (most of the time).

This is well... I ditched classes in high school when they wouldn't benefit me at all (like watching a hollywood movie) and I would get penalized for it. College I don't have that problem. I love the freedom, living in an apartment with awesome friends and in most classes I actually learn a good amount of stuff where in high school they would drag out the teachings over weeks.
Everything.
Most classes meet less than 3 hours a week (though you'll need to spend more time than that to get good grades), if you live on/near campus you're right next to everyone you know from school, and older adults have almost no control over your social life.
Well first of all you should go to college with a goal or degree in mind. If you just go taking courses aimlessly then your just kinda wasting your time(IMO)
However, if you do go with a goal in mind, then college is so much better than highschool. You get to choose to take classes you're actually interested in. You can choose your teachers, your class times. People are (in general) more mature. Yea, the courses are going to be harder, but hopefully you'll get an education your actually interested in and you'll hopefully meet alot of new people.
I've barely started, but I like the newfound independence. It's also nice being able to create your own schedule and pick everything from the classes to the exact times. The material taught is on a much higher level as well. Additionally, there's a variety of things you can do around the university. I feel so grown-up walking around campus :P
I do miss my friends though, I don't see them as often :?
