There are a lot of things that help calm me down. Unfortunately driving isn't one of them anymore, too many stupid drivers on the road now. I find sitting down and reading a good book or listening to classical or new age tend to calm me down quite a bit. Then again those have always helped me relax since I was in grade school.
If I'm looking for a quick fix to calm me down, drinking water really fast can help.....as strange as that sounds... But for the most part, it takes a lot to calm myself down when I get really riled up.
Mine is turning off my mobile, shipping my G/F off to her Dad's for a weekend visit, pumping up the cushions on the sofa knowing that I have a full weekend of doing whatever I damn well please ahead of me .... bliss

bang my head up against the wall and destroy things. unfortunately i can't do that often cuz once you calm down you have to pay for the broken things:x life's a bi*ch
