I'd like to know, as it takes me a long time just to memorize a few bits of information. I read the material and repeat it out loud, but it doesn't seem like an amazing technique to memorize large amounts of information quickly. So, how do you guys memorize stuff?

ive been taught this way of studying but i never tried it:P what you do is take notes on whatever your reading and you make up your own test questions from your notes. your more likely to get higher test grades becuse most of the time you actually make up questions that are on the real test

Cram for 4-5 hours before the test. Unless it's something to do with equations and numbers then I actually have to learn the material.

I have to read it, then write it down by hand. Typing it out works ok, but by hand makes it stick in my mind I've found.

Actually, I just listen in class, look over what I need to know conceptually. Find ways to get arround what you need to memorize and get the big picture. So far my habits have paid off with a 4.3 GPA.

I do it 2 in the morning when my eyes start drooping they night before the test. While doing this I usually drink Pepsi Max, Mountain Dew, an energy drink, or coffee.

Well you really have to focus on the subject and really think about it. That's how I study, and then understand what everything means and you'll know it. :D Take your time as well.

Thats what I do. I learn most of the information from doing my homework. I really only study things like my pre-ap biology and my harder subjects

my major doesn't really require me to memorize stuff, it's pretty much all about logical thinking, analyzing and problem solving. so my method is to review course notes, read the chapters in the book and practice lots of problems.

Pay attention in class (mostly), do your homework(mostly), glance over reading when assigned and read at least a week before any exams or quizes come up. STUDY FOR TESTS A WEEK PRIOR. Cramming does not work for a lot of people. You need to take in information piece by piece and sleep on it in order for your brain to store all relevant information into permanent storage. I'm in college, so this may be a bit heavy, but if you do everything in a timely fashion, success is almost guaranteed.

I use the "OMG I HAVE A TEST THIS HOUR?" cramming method because studying does not work for me. My mother once made me study for 10 HOURS (over the week) for a test and i ended up getting a D on it. I stopped studying right there.

For vocab words make flash cards and quiz your self. Eliminate the ones you know. For subjects where you need to know concepts use pre quizes in the book or make your own. For your math classes do practice problems. This is what i do and i have straight A's

I don't study. I cheat and/or bust out my notes in the period before the test so they stay fresh in my mind.

I don't do much studying. I largely just study by paying attention in class and doing the homework assignments. I'll glance over the material to remind myself of all the main points, but no intensive stuff.

I don't have a method of studying. I just read and it's instantly memorized into my head. Things are easier for me to understand though when it's interpretated through a show.

I pay attention and do the homework. All goes well from there.
