What movie theme song is your favorite?

For me, I think it's probably the Terminator. I love that theme. Every time I hear it, it sends shivers down my spine. In fact, I actually got it as a ring tone. :P

Anvil of Crom by Basil Poledouris for Conan the Barbarian. Once it begins you the audience knows that there will be kickassery and badassery to be seen.

This movie has one of my favorite theme songs. The Piano in it is jsut amazing, really heartfelt stuff.

As someone else said, Donnie Darko is also a good example.

I love the theme song from The Rock. It just sounds so...kickass.

I also liked the Pans Labyrinth lullaby, not something i'll listen to but it fitted the scene perfectly.

"Wish": the main theme song from "Lola rennt" (Run Lola Run).

The Indiana Jones theme is probably my all-time favorite.

I also loved Back to the Future, Jaws, E.T., Mission Impossible, and 007 theme songs.

Aye, I would agree that Pan's Labyrinth had a beautiful theme. Very simple lullabye motif which gets used in different ways throughout the film. Javier Navarrette was robbed of an Oscar.
