I have seen it and really liked it, I should re-watch it because it has been a while since I saw it but I recall it being one great epic.

how is it amazing? i know it's my opinion, not fact, hence why i said imo.

i do appreciate this movie has many great points, soundtrack, al pacino, the acting all round is pretty solid, but i just can't see what makes it a classic. the godfather is an infinitely better story of power going to the head. i knew what was going to happen 10 minutes into Scarface. I'm not saying a film needs to be unpredictable to be good, but it certainly takes away from the overall experience imo.

~Last Year at Marienbad (far and away the BEST movie I have ever seen)

~L'age D'or

~The Exterminating Angel

~Pan's Labyrinth

~Red Desert

~Ugetsu

~Spirited Away (really, ALL of Miyazaki's work)

~Wet Hot American Summer

~The Ballad of Narayama (1983 version)

~The Last Picture Show

~Exotica

~The Sweet Hereafter

~Adaptation

~Synecdoche, New York

~The Wire (yeah, it's a T.V. show, but everyone should watch it before they die)

That's all I can think of right now. :)
