Real road warriors listen to talk radio. For some reason music gets annoying real quick if you have to drive all the time.JiveT
Definitely agree. I can't stand music for my morning commute.
Do you just listen to music that you normally would, or something to fit the mood of the place you are travelling through? I love to listen to really epic and ambient music when travelling through the countryside.EwanMacGoing to university, J-Pop, J-rock, any kind of Japanese music, going to work, J-Pop, etc.. It's all the same. As long as I have my MP3, and sometimes I do switch to another song when not in the mood, but other than that, it's just what my MP3 randomly chooses.
I always listen to Z100. Its a music station in NY. In the morning, they have what is basically a funny talk show on, since nobody needs music for their commute.Mumbles527

Have you accepted Howard Stern into your life yet?

I liked it when he would do his television show at around midnight on E!. I refuse to pay 200+ to hear him speak.[QUOTE="DarkKar"][QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"][QUOTE="Mumbles527"]I always listen to Z100. Quite a bit of talk radio is decent, though. I can usually find something interesting on NPR. Can't say that for any other radio station. Still better off loading podcasts onto an MP3 player and listening to those, though.
i listen to mostly the the same stuff i normally would. however, if im in a traffic jam that i know would go faster if people would atleast try to hustle up(which happens a lot), i have some harder stuff that ill blast to give them some inspiration.

My request never did get aired on television. High-pitch Eric vs Beetlejuice.
edit: I remember when the staff found out he had a phobia of fish. So they chased him around the studio with one
I haven't had a radio in my car for over a year, so nothing :) I also don't often travel very far, just to school and work. However I have a new vehicle (almost road ready), with a cd player. It has pathetic speakers though, I'm going to try to get some new ones if I work enough over winter break.
Anyway, I bought the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin on iTunes (because I enjoyed the excerpts we read for American Literature), and if I go on a long journey that will be what I listen to (5 hours long).
In the past on a decently long trip I listened to Hamlet.
Otherwise it's just random music.
