What music reminds you of the past?

A lot of the music I listen to reminds me of a specific time or year or a certain time period.

one example I can think of is Sugar Ray reminds me of the late 1990's early 2000's.

Music by queen reminds of when I was younger.

Bands that put me in a different time

Korn, I was a fan of them in highschool and whenever I hear them it brings me back.

Immortal Technique, Makes me think about my past failures and encourages me for the future.

The Black Dahlia Murder, The band that got me into vocals

Disgorge, The band that encouraged me to take my singing seriously

Dark Angel, Reminds me of bad times

Helloween, always cheers me up after listening to March Of Time

When I listen to Amon Amarth, I get this strange urge to go out and pillage some poor, helpless village...ragek1ll589

Too many to name. One example off the top of my head, "October" by evanescence always makes me think about the span of my life. I want it played at my funeral.

Anthrax reminds me of when I was about 10, their album We've Come for You All was my first metal album.

Now I listen to a lot of Suffocation, Entombe, Cryptopsy, Nile, that stuff

All of Madonna's stuff. (including new ones)

Also Bone Thugs-n-Harmony.

Taking Back Sunday reminds me of my first girlfriend and doing it on the roof of her house. Haha good times.
