I'm not that into anime shows, but some anime movies, such as Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle I really enjoyed watching. Are there any other anime movies with the same adventure/feel like the ones I mentioned?

Any other movies besides Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and Princess Mononoke? lol I didn't mention that one, because I didn't like it as much as the other ones. Also, I forgot to mention that I've already seen Akira, and didn't like it either.

You're looking for a director named Hayao Miyazaki. All his movies are like that.

Hmm....I might just be spoiled by the manga, but I didn't like the Nausicaa movie....the manga was soo epic and chilling, and the level of detail in his drawings were so beautiful...and I felt Kushana had much more depth too (and so did the war god haha).  I bet I'm just being picky.  The latest Ghibli film (not direted by Hayao Miyazaki), Gedo Senki (Tales from Earthsea), looks pretty cool, though I haven't finished watching the whole thing (the subbed version I found was so bad...they left question marks for people's names for instance cuz the translators are retarded!).  It looks like a potentially pretty fantasy epic though :)  Whats weird is I never hear anyone talk about it...

I cant think of any really epic anime movies right now aside from Hayao Miyazaki ones...Metropolis was kinda cool...err...once I remember some titles I'll post!  In the meantime I'd like to see what everyone recommends :D

You apparently got the same translation of Gedo Senki as me. I was almost crying.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Castle in the Sky. Hayao Miyazaki does amazing work. Here is his filmography.

Grave of the Fireflies is excellent (but very depressing), and i know you said you don't like anime series, but i think you might like Monster, or Death Note

I'm going to go both off-topic and on a limb here.. You're looking for movies to watch correct? Watch Pan's Labrynth for me and tell me if it's any good. I'll mail you a sock as my gratitude.

Hm, you seem inclined for the ones with a playful, lighter side.  Try Tokyo Godfathers, a funny story about three homeless street people who find an abandoned infant and their attempt to locate the mother.  And a few more of Miyazaki's films: Porco Rosso and The Cat Returns.
