What the title says.

At the moment, I'm extremely interested in the Tokugawa Shogunate, a feudal regime of Japan from the Edo period. I just recently finished a lengthy paper over it so its stuck in my head right now.

World War 2..Or any kind of war.. war fascinates me. The history about it, everything. Tactics, the generals, the armies, the unorthodox way of winning a battle.. Heroes, legends.. I love war.

I LOVE history (so much that it's my major), so it's hard to choose a time period that is the most interesting to me. On the other hand, I can easily choose a region of the world that fascinates me and that would be Asia. Not saying other areas aren't interesting, because they are. Asian history is how I got into history, so it's very special to me.

The Crusades, because I find the Templar's, Knights Hospitaller, and Jerusalem fascinating among other reasons.

Classical, or 16-18th century Caribbean. Or Warring States period in ancient China. And Meiji is a lot more interesting to me than Tokugawa. Meiji Period, from historical standpoint, signified so many things. ps. and the last research paper I wrote was on Meiji

20th century, the birth of the modern state. Brought the most groundbreaking changes to the fundamentals of humankind (other than the enlightenment I guess.)

I have many, but the Industrial Revolution, American Revolution, World War Two, and ancient Roman and Greek Empires are among my favorites.

I like the Roman times I just find it pretty fascinating about their military and how they pretty much laid the ground work for modern armies.
