[QUOTE="Viedric"]Southern, but not "Texan-Southern." Yes, I say Y'all instead of you all, or like northerns say "you guys" heh cracks me up.g-unit248
but is it "pop" "soda" or just "coke" for everything? thats the real question haha
I've never used the word "pop" for any drink. I only call coca-colas "cokes" everything else is called by its name, Dr. Pepper for example.
I guess I have a Midland accent. Being from Colorado, it's about as dull as oatmeal, so I don't sound like anything at all.
Northeastern
Most people don't know it but this is actually what dictionaries are based on. If you don't believe me, pick up any American dictionary and look up "source" and "sauce" and you'll see they are written with the same vowel pronunciation.
On an aside, how could you make Bag and Vague rhyme? I don't get that.
Northeastern.....but I'm from the UK.......What part? Everyone always stereotypes us as having the London accent, which is gay.

Im got a really neutral accent really - im in stafford, and lucky enough to have none of the surrounding accents.
Having a really strong dialect makes people sound so thick.
Midland
("Midland" is not necessarily the same thing as "Midwest") The default, lowest-common-denominator American accent that newscasters try to imitate. Since it's a neutral accent, just because you have a Midland accent doesn't mean you're from the Midland.
I was born in FL.
