yeah but the genes are there for a reason, a lion don't have teeth to run away...evildead6789Natural selection, evolution. The exact evolutionary causes i don't know but probably africans had darker skin because they did better under the intense sun, as people migrated North it allowed easier survival of lighter pigmented people so they became more and more populous and lots of vitamin D gave lighter pigments some advantage.
I suppose Caucasian (Middle Eastern - Lebanese to be specific, which falls under ethnic origins) would be the best way to describe it.
