Oh well, one man's garbage is another one's treasure. You can't expect everybody to agree on what's good and what's not.

yeah, probably the dumbest trailer I've seen in awhile.

The script is ridiculous, the bodies are great and the film skates so long on the line between knowingly bad and bad that by the time the body count hits 100 and the booby count hits 1000, we've lost track of the difference.

Sounds like my kinda movie 8) . Thankfully these mindless movies are making a come back, expendables, machete and this! yay!

It will go down. I'm not surprised though, I think a lot of people just still do not get the fact that it is SUPPOSED to look stupid. It is was made to be, and wants nothing more to be an incredibly stupid, cheesy but gore, nudity and blood filled piece of entertainment. So far critics get it, hopefully others will follow.

I wasn't interested before, and that hasn't changed.

The movie seems to know what it's doing and apparently does it well. Not my kind of movie but I know lots of people who would like this.

I'll watch it for the lulz and boobies.

The self-aware cheesy film is one of my favorite styles, but it's one that's so difficult to pull off because of the fine line you have to walk between trying too hard and being legimately bad. I'm hoping that this turns out to be a new goodie (or baddie, as the case may be).

It did look like a Sc-fi channel original on the big screen with respectable budget, and I doubt it'll stay at 81% (they all most all ways go down because the critics who most wanted to see it usually are the first to). IDK I don't want to blow the money at the theater but needless to say with 3D being a big selling point it probably won't translate if I watching it on the computer.

I'll wait for the consensus.

I'm glad it's doing well. I think it's a nice homage to old B-horror movies, and doing it in 3-D sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun.

The fact that a lot of them are priasing it for it's use of pretty women is quite sad actually...

This movie looked fantastically cheesy from the very start, how can someone not love a movie like that unless they only want serious cinema at all times.

I only wanted to see this because it looked hilarious. I'm slightly more interested now.

The trailer looked bad but I kind of expected the movie to be alright. It just looks so terrible its good. I still wont be seeing it any time soon though.

It's funny how majority of this thread said that they've been wanting to see it and knew it would be good. If it turned out to be bad, I could see this thread with nothing but hate comments on it.

I just got back from watching this horrible movie. It is not fun, funny, sexy, scary. intense or even mildly entertaining. It was excruciating to sit and watch this crap fest. The gimmicky 3D was way too dark to see most of the gore shots. There was NO plot. Its just one long Girls Gone Wild video with some fake cgi piranha thrown in for good measure. The original movie made in the late '70's was far superior in terms of plot, pacing, characterization, suspense, music, directing. Yeah, some of the gore shots are good in the new movie, but they lack any impact due to poor directing and blury 3D. Avoid at all cost.

I don't really find myself enjoying over the top campy movies. Especially ones in 3D. But for a summer flick boobs and gore is all anyone needs.

I want to see that movie about as much as the Pilgrim vs the world. Which is about as much as I want to get shot in the nuts. Both look horrible.

My friend showed me the trailer and it looked like a generic crappyjaws style flick. I cant believe the score.

I think its very easy for some critics to say 'ah its mindless self-aware junk so its all in good fun' - yeah when you're not paying $20 to see it though. biggest_loser

What difference does it make? They are telling you straight up what it is.. your choice to pay or not.
