You didn't even have a shape in your poll. Shouldn't that have been an option? According to scientists, it's flat, idk how, but that's what they said. Don't ask me to find a link because I don't remember where it was.

Since the universe is thought to have expanded from a quantum singularity and has kept a perfectly steady increase in all degrees ranging from that point, I would assume that the universe is a perfect sphere in shape. I could be wrong, though.

There's some debate, and it depends on the amount of dark energy and matter in the universe. If it's more than a certain amount, it's saddle-shaped, if it's less than that amount, it's doughnut-shaped, and if it's just at the certain amount, it's spherical.

It's been a while since I've read The Fabric of the Cosmos, though, so the above might be wrong.

Interesting. Is "Fabric of the Cosmos" a book or an internet article? I wish to look it up sometime.

I suppose it's spherical since most things in it are like that (planets, stars, atoms)

It's a book by Brian Greene. It's really interesting, but it focuses mainly on quantum mechanics and string theory.

I guess I'll have to read the book in 3-page increments per day in order to prevent my brain from exploding then.

He does a really good job of bringing the material down to a level that can be comprehended by someone without a massive background in physics, though, which is nice :)

We don't know the boundaries of the universe or if there even are any so there is no definite shape.
