Ok this is the **** I am the class president of 11th grade in my school. Jr. Prom is coming up in 2 days and I don't feel like going because I don't have anyone to go with. I don't feel like wasting 6 hours of my life and wasting 95$ for a ticket. The ****advisor (the person who is in charge of student govt) is a **** and shes on a huge power trip. She thinks she can yell at anyone/do anything. I feel like just not going but I know she's gonna get pissed. I'm also suppose to give a 1 minute speech tommorow at an assembly. Would a fellow blow both tommorow and the jr prom off? Would a fellow stick it to the man in this situation?
P.S. Their's a chance I'll lose my precideny but it doesn't really matter
The good thing is that my parents dont want me to go. It's going to be a waste of 95$. Everyone has to be their an hour early to take pictures which I won't do. And we have to take normal school buses and can't bring anyone from another school. It's going to be horrible.

Oh, well my plans for prom, is saving about 70 bucks and taking about 25 and going down to atlanta for the after prom parties.
The best idea for me. Im gonna just take my date to the parties instead.
If I do the speech then it's going to feel like I really have to go. If I do it then I can't just fake being sick because my class advisor will know I didn't buy a ticket.

0_o can't bring someone from another school?!?! 0_o take buses WOW. i would say screw it!! go to ur senior prom. ur school is messed up can't bring someone from another school when i was in high school u could bring anyone u wanted. i heard 2 kids brought striper to prom.

I sorta know I should go, but I wanna tell the **** that i'll do w/e I want. For example their was this one time where I was going to sit in the cafeteria with about 3 others and sell some shirts to raise money. It just so happens that for 1 out of the 3 days I had to do it I was going on a college tour. I went to her office and apologized because I couldn't do it. I told her that I talked to the others and it is taken care of. Their were other teachers around and of course she decides to yell at me to look tough. She said I can either walk out or be responsible (or something like that) and sell the shirts. I walked out. After that she hasn't been so annoying becuase she learned i'm not scared of her.

The thing is the other members of student govt wouldn't get pissed. 2 of them don't even show up at our meetings and the vice president is debating whether going or not aswell.
