Yeah i never got it either. I thought it was because of terrible voice acting but when i saw the video i saw nothing wrong with it.

the fact that its over 9000 makes it funny. nuff said.

yah I saw the episode when I was a kid and it was a line that I remembered. But I guess some people found it funny and use it out of context in the stupidest possible ways which is why its funny now.

It is basially making fun of the ridiculousness that is DBZ (this coming from a fan). The line is especially funny for those of us who watched the series as 9,000 is like the power level of a fetus by the end where they are getting in the MILLIONS!

Personally, I find the rest of the youtube series much funnier than the original. They actually get pretty creative and crazy. Instead of just repeating one line, they start combining lines and stuff to make for funny innuendo and then the vids get very random in the 2nd half:
