It is the only correct answer. :PWell i think the classics from Jimmy, Pink Floyd and Led, are all givens so I will say that my favorite would have to be....
Starla- 5 minute shoegazing, space rock solo, epic indeed.
Drown- 4 minute's of pure shredding, a delicate mess indeed.
Silver F**k- Guitar's that are beyond god like and with amazing drumming to boot.
I'd say something by Jason Becker. You could even go with the original guitar solo, Niccolo Paganini's 24th Caprice. Guy was writing speed metal parts 200 years early.RAMRODtheMASTERnah, that doesn't count, Paganini's 24th was originally played on Violin, still a pretty cool piece....

Well he technically wrote it to be played on a stringed instrument...[QUOTE="RAMRODtheMASTER"]I'd say something by Jason Becker. John Williams has an amazing and very clean version on guitar. And Joe Stump has his own awesome rendition.
I got a lot of favorite guitar solos, some of my favorite ones are "Texas Flood" and "Pride and Joy" by Stevie Ray Vaughn. I also like "L.A Women" and "Spanish Caravan" By the Doors.

I have to agree with this, if you want to listen something beautiful and full of mind blowing solos, go for Perpetual Burn(album).

If I had to pick one from the whole album I'd say Air. Mabel's Fatal Fable is my favorite but Air is a masterpiece.Winter Madness by Wintersun, anyone who says different has not heard the song, I think. You could also say Eruption by Van Halen has excellent guitar too.

I'd give anything to make it so he could play again. He could charge his music with so much emotion. If he had never gotten sick he would probably still be producing such beautiful music. Hell he probably would have grown even better. It's such a shame. It was good. It has speed but a beautiful solo, speed does not make. That's just my opinion though.Winter Madness by Wintersun, anyone who says different has not heard the song, I think. You could also say Eruption by Van Halen has excellent guitar too.

Planisphere by Justice. The actual song is over 15 minutes long, but here's the section at the end with the amazing guitar solo. :)

That song is so blissful and the whole record sounds like it just came out of the Garden of Eden.
