were i hang around is beside a skatepark so its full of bladers and boarders.(im a blader)

also a good bit of football...

but mostly rolleblading has taken over (and skateboarding)

your area? what spots are most popular?

Football (soccor), rugby (the only good sport EVA... :x) and cricket.
Rugby is my country's national sport, so yeh; it's played by the majority here...

we have a arena football team, the triple a team to the chicago blackhawks, and a baseball team.

Basketball and handball are the most popular in my neighborhood. There are also a bunch of skaters around here.

I see a lot of soccer- and handball players. There are a lot of skaters too but it looks like it's mostly recreational.

American Football. I live in Jacksonville, Florida so theres the Jaguars and the region is very big on college teams. The Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, Georgia Bulldogs, and Miami Hurricanes are very popular. There are a lot of immigrants where I live as well, and soccer is very popular.

The talk is mostly football and baseball. People are usually wearing A's, Cal, and Raiders gear around. There are not as many 49ers and Giants fans, but I guess that's the cost for living in the east bay. When I go to campus though, the allegiance shifts to pro SF.

As for what people play, I know HS around here stress soccer a lot.
