What the hell is /b/?

Some kid at school keeps telling me to go there. And he gave me a message entitled "/b/", and he keeps talkig about this **** and he said to me. "I heard you don't like Mudkipz."

I've heard of it on the internet too, and I have a buddy on UO named "Mudkipz", but can you people please explain to me what the hell this is?

It's the "random" board on the image board known as 4 chan.

Basically post anything, no rules. (Except regarding ads and child porn.)

I use to go every now and again, but the racism, vulgarity, porn and so forth bothered me to no end, I felt bad just visiting the site. So I left after not too long. Not my cup O' tea.

It is defined as the "ass end of the internet." It is about posting "random" things that follow a strict (extraordinarily strict) set of rules. It is loaded to the brim with incredibly gory, offensive and pornographic material. It is not the place for children. No amount of "desensitization" can prepare you for what you see on those boards, I've seen some of the biggest, most ballsy males get scarred by what they see on there.

I'm pretty sure the screen capture of that fad is from /b/ ie. that is what it looks like.
