What the hell...this isnt right

Well ive been listening to some rap music lately because I found out about Flobots and I decided to give rap a try...and i noticed it says the "n word" a lot but black people dont even mind it.

So today at school I see some black kids and was like "sup my nigs you check out that hot new Lil Wayne cd?" and they got extremely mad and punched me in the face...I wasnt gonna just stand there and let that happen so i fought back (there was way too many of them so i got hurt pretty badly). Me and some black kid got taken down to the office and were both given suspensions tomorrow. But because they said I started it with "racial slurs" i ended up getting in extreme trouble and now they dont know if theyll let me walk at graduation tomorrow.

This is such bull****...I didnt know that only black people were allowed to call each other n words without getting smashed on....now I might not even be able to attent my own damn graduation

In Mexico we call them "negros" not to mean it as a racial slur but is the translation of black.

WHen I go to the US, I got in trouble for that :(

Let me get this straight. You were about to graduate tomorrow (from high school I presume) and you didn't even know how offensive that word was? Never mind that you, only after hearing it on a few songs, thought it was cool to go about using it? If you're not sure of it's meaning, why bother even using it? elblanquito_81

On topic. I don't believe this. You have to be really ignorant not to know that is offensive. But if it is true, I laugh at your ignorance. :lol:
