Go outside. Go for a walk, hangout with friends. Just do something outside, that's not boring.

I've been feeling like that for quite some time. I think the important thing is to realize what is missing from your life and work towards attaining that. Though sometimes that is not easy...

Is it possible you are feeling withdrawal from something? Caffeine, nicotine or missing someone?

If you have enough cash, go to your local strip club and order yourself a screwdriver.

I’m guessing you don’t exercise regularly. I hear the same thing from people who don’t.

That depends on why you're feeling this way. Nobody in this thread can give you a satisfactory answer because we don't know you, TC. There was a time when I felt empty because many things in my life felt stale and mundane. I addressed that by doing things I wouldn't normally do and leaving my comfort zone. Of course that's just one situation and it's hardly ever that simple when you're living it rather than reading about it.

This is basically the correct response.

For me, I really never felt empty in any ways. I always find something to keep my mind occupied and even if someone hurt me, I only know to keep going forward.

I feel that way all the time.

First off, be OK with it. You don't have to feel happy or sad at all times. It's OK to simply be "OK".

This is what I do to deal with it:

Practice some neuroplasticity. When you're in a neutral mood, it's a good time to practice this exercise: breathe in for three seconds, hold for three seconds, breathe out for three seconds. Repeat until your mind is empty, clear, and you are able to do the exercise without thinking about it. You won't be feeling much of anything at that point except being OK with yourself.

After that, focus on a positive thought. It could be something you did well recently, a positive relationship with a friend or family member...anything. These positive thoughts will slowly rewire your brain by inducing chemicals into your body, so that when you do get to this "empty" state, your mind will default to a more pleasant disposition. Again, not necessarily happy, but not down, either.

It takes practice, and I still suffer from a lot of depression and anxiety and I tend to default to a "down" attitude when I am feeling empty, but it has gotten a lot better for me. It's especially useful when you are stressed out or overwhelmed.

I look deep into myself and look for the child in me. I recall all the things I've enjoyed in life and ask why I enjoyed them. Then I ask why I've stopped some of those hobbies. After that, I ask why what is stopping me from getting better at the things I used to enjoy as a child.

After figuring that out, I do all I can to push my limits and try to do some of the things I wish I could have continued in my life.

Finding the child in yourself is like finding the natural instinct of who you really are. I don't mean regress and start playing toys, but do some of the challenging things you did as a child and that made you happy when you achieved some of those challenges.

I would start with never judging the way you feel in a negative way, to really accept the feelings you have at any given moment. I think it's super important when feeling "off" to achieve a balance in your life. I saw you mention you drink 4 iced coffees a day, have you ever chosen days to have zero or maybe 1 or 2 and limiting the intake to see how you feel? The best advice I think I could give anyone is to decide on what you want in your life, write it down and hold yourself accountable and along the way learn from all the decisions you make whether they help you or hurt you towards attaining those things. We often forget that we need purpose and in this day and age where our basic needs our met, we need to place this purpose on ourselves and that can be as simple as accepting ourselves and helping out the people around us :)

Remember that you are a child of the universe and you belong here. You dont have to solve all your problems or come with some big revelation in one night. Just enjoy life and realize that as long as your alive, anything can happen and fortunes can change.
