What type of zombie do you like?

This thread might have been done before but we can do it again can't we?

Anyways the zombie is my arch nemisis and when it comes to zombies in the movies or in games, I preffer the classic slow moving zombie. They might be slow but they get you in numbers, and that's what's scary to me.

So, what kind of zombie do YOU like?

I like 'em both for different reasons.

as far as real life goes, i think i'd prefer the slow ones...

The fast ones are just plain ridicolous for zombies. I like the good ol' slows

I like the nazi type of zombies.

The ones that do my bidding on a regular basis. Those independent thinkers that crop up from time to time are the fly in the ointment as far as I'm concerned.

Depends. I like fast zombies for an action zombie movie/games (Resident Evil live-action films and Left 4 Dead), but slow and sluggish zombies for more horror-esque movies/games (Night of the Leaving Dead and the first Resident Evil game).

Slow ones are always good as a classic, but in a video game I far prefer to have the ones like in 28 weeks later. They make much more sense in real life than the slow, dead ones. Iantheone

In video games I prefer faster hordes that die easily but there are alot of them over slow small groups that take 9000 shots to down. The latter is just tedious and boring.

The slow, mindless, moaning kind. That running, intelligent **** you see nowadays aren't true zombies in my book. They completely undermine one of the trademark stigmas of a zombie; a walking plague. The fact they were slow and mindless was intentional. It's meant to convey that you aren't under assault by a mere hostile force. No, this is something more akin to a gigantic, bipedal virus that doesn't give two craps what happens to it so long as it can devour you. Making them fast, or intelligent, or self-preserving entirely ruins this unnerving effect.

The re-dead kind.

i like the in between ones, like in resident evil remake they have those crimson zombies.. which are dead and decaying but there also fast as...

so the fast moving (but not really running), really dead and decaying .. maggot infested zombies.

You should have an option to have both. Both types in one film or game would be interesting.
