So what was the last album you bought?
I just picked up Everyone Into Position by oceansize
I really like it. A little softer than my liking, but I like it nonetheless

I just saw Basia Bulat last night live, and we had a chat. She is SO adorable! :) I picked up her cd and got it signed
I've never bought music in my life...what a waste of money...DJ-PRIME90Don't you feel as though you should give a little something back to your favourite bands?
and the album before Oceansize was Enslaved's Runn
pretty kickass album. a good mix of heavy and soft stuff.
The last CD I bought was Tusk - The Resisting Dreamer
The last full album I bought was Bad Religion - New Maps of Hell
Both records are awesome. Tusk is way more like Pelican than anything else of theirs, which is a good (great) thing...And I didn't like this Bad Religion all that much the first listen-through, but now I love it.
Dream Theater: Systematic ChaosLorindolI like their older stuff, like awake. systematic chaos just sounded pretty generic to me :?
Rage against the machine - Battle of Los Angeles
It's a great band, even though it's one big contradiction.

I wasn't to impressed either, but I had hopes. I rarely buy new music anymore anyways, their older stuff was great.
I don't even listen to the radio to hear new music anymore either.........a lot of the new stuff isn't interesting to me.
Siege * dropdead
Charles bronson * Youth attack!
Dropdead / Totalitar split
Death Cab for Cutie * brothers on a hotel bus / i will follow you into the dark
all amazing.
"Slash's Snakepit" was the last album I bought. It was an impulse buy, its really good. Some seriously awesome guitar licks and solo's.
However I recently downloaded "The Fall of Troy"s latest album "Manipulator". Still not sure about them. Im trying to look past the screaming because the music is good and he is a good singer as well so I dont see the need. They are different. I think that is what I find so appealing about them.
Enter the Grave by Evile
Road to Bloodshed by Sanctity
Both are debuts this year by bands that play kickass thrash in the classic style. I highly recommend both of those CDs if you enjoy bands like Slayer, Megadeth, Exodus, Death Angel, old Metallica, etc.
And speaking of debuts, I also got Burn My Eyes by Machine Head, one of my favorite bands now. I don't think it's as good as The Blackening, but it's great stuff.
