What was the most awkward store that you've been in?

Me it had to be the time I went into the Victoria secret store with my friends cause they wanted to buy stuff and I tried to look for a bathroom and went into the back and well people thought I was doing something else and kicked me out. >_>

And why dose it smell so bad in there!?! I couldn't breath the whole time I was in there. :|

Hmm...I don't really think I've ever been in any awkward stores. My guy friends have had me accompany them to more male-oriented stores, I guess, but nothing was ever embarrassing.

I guess I've felt awkward being in stores where I recognize (but don't know/like) all of the employees...

last year me and my family drove 4 hours to Sudbury, Ontario to go to my cousins wedding (shes like 22 IDIOT) and we stayed at the hotel where the wedding was held at. Anyway, the hotel was connected to a small mall, and im walking around with my mom in it and we go into this cool looking store that looked like a spencers gifts. So we're walking through it looking at things then all of a sudden turn the corner and WHAM - huge wall of **** and sex toys.

Extremely awkward.

Any womens clothing store. The sales people try their hardest not to add suruptitious patronising tones to their voices when they ask, "can I help you?"

But I know they're really saying, "you poor stupid idiot, you have no idea about women's clothes."

Zumiez at my closest mall. I had a job there, but suffice it to say things didn't work out. I haven't talked to the store manager in a while and it's incredibly awkward when my friends want to go in. Just doesn't feel right. The last couple of times I've been lucky enough to miss the manager, I genuinely dislike her.-Twilight-

Why would a zumiez have a chick manager? I've never been in one but they're like a skate/snow/surf shop right? Like Active meets Pac Sun? A female manager at that kind of shop sounds like bad news.

Sex shops are NOT intimidating, but ignorant pushy salesmen can be...irritating at best, especially when you know more about the products they are trying to peddle than they do.fellybat

I can't remember what the store was called, but they sold all this gothic stuff, and the sales woman was wearing a black corset and had piercings all over her face. Then in walks a blonde girl, wearing a mini skirt and a pink tank top.

I felt so confused and scared and left like two minutes later. :?

My Male friend and I where walking through boots only to find 2 for 1 on durex condoms decided 2 buy them but went to the cosmetics till only to our luck the till broke down and alot of women where behind us and the cashier to say " These condoms cant be used for homosexual intercouse, you sure u wanna go up stairs and still buy them" i went bright red said noooo where not a couple just friends. brought the condoms and got the hell out of there lol.
