What was your first date?

the majority of GS users must have gone on a first date, so who here is willing to share a story on their first date? how old were you, who asked who out, what year was it, what did you do, was it a date to remember? etc?

and if you didn't go on a date? what is your dream/realistic date you would like to have?

I'm too cool for dating. 8)

I took a girl named Heather to see Titanic when it was in theaters. That was my first date that I can remember.

It was a date that was remembered mainly because this kid named James who liked Heather ended up stalking us at the theater before and after the movie was rather an odd experience. It was in 1997 and I was 15 I believe at the time

The whole story about Heather and I though is an interesting one that someday I should blog. A twisted tale of occasional run in's that went on till last year so around 14 years total. Man I really should blog that lol

The only 2 girls I ever dated were gold-diggers. I'm hoping to change that right now.

I remember a thread like this about a year ago. Lots of people saying they haven't been on one. And then invites to dates, and then quotes and quotes of GS flirting.

I've only been on blind dates, the first one the girl sat at the OPPOSITE end of the couch to watch the movie. Most awkward 90 mins ever. I should of just farted and left.

I was 13 at the time. We went down the road to get something to eat then because it was a sunny day we went down to the park and we just sat there chatting to each other. It was fun. I think I went out with her for about a month and half.

Uh...I think it was minigolf in 4th grade with this girl I really liked who turned out to be my first kiss. My mom and her mom went and got coffee and we played golf. If I remember correctly, we were terrible.

I was 15, we went to the movies and went to go eat. :P Nothing spectacular.

It wasn't really a date. I was 14, she was 16, and I was designated her "stag" for the night.

How babies were not made is a wonder to me. Perhaps I shot it up the wrong hole.

Dinner and a movie - while cliche - is not a good first date. Too much time spent independent of each other...namely watching the movie. Unless you get a movie kiss in.

Well, actually it can work out. It has for me. I went to Princess and the Frog and actually got laid that night.

But generally, I'd recommend doing something fun/interesting/interactive. Concerts are great, you might even get to dance with her. Minigolf, lazer tag, go-karts, etc are also great

I was 17 and I took her out to eat at a nice restaurant. She ordered chicken fingers (as seems to be common for females to do on a first date apparently) and I made fun of her for it for the next 2 years that we dated. Other than where the restaurant is, I don't remember any other details.mindstorm

I'm thinking it was a middle school dance. Not really sure though. My first date that wasn't a silly middle school thing was going to see a movie with my girlfriend that I had started dating at church camp. I remember that my parents drove us and I don't remember what the movie was because we were making out the entire time. (I guess that was a silly early highschool thing)

I went bowling. And it was a lame date. Bowling dates = fail. Ninja-Hippo

I understand. I worked overnights for 3 years. It's a different world.

My first date was with a girl named Sally in the fifth grade. We kept our relationship secret (besides a few of our friends) because we were two shy little kids.

Anyways, I took her to see Scream 3 (well, I didn't take her - my dad drove us). They wouldn't let us in because we were too young, so we saw The Sixth Sense instead. We held hands throughout the whole film. After the film, we went behind the theater and kissed each other on the cheek!

EDIT: Also, after we dropped her off, we picked up a friend of mine, told him everything that happened, then rented Pokemon Snap. Ah, good times. :D

The hardest part for me was switching around my sleep schedule for the weekend so I could at least pretend to have some kind of social life.

Went to the movies, but didn't really watch a movie if you know what I'm sayin'.

I don't remember but it probably ended up with someone getting pregnant.
