What were you doing when 9/11 Happened?

What were you doing when 9/11 happened? I bielieve it happen somewhere between 8 AM - 11 AM.

Hopefully you know the date.

That was the day we got our first computer. I remember my Dad was picking me up from school early with a weird look on his face. I was real into history and all, so when I found out what had happened, I was amazed, yet devastated. My Dad rushed to the gas station, to get gas because everybody thought they might tackle our oil supplies, too. I was kinda scared. I was in middle school, so I was old enough to be scared about it. Because if you're really young you just wouldn't know what the hell was going on and wouldn't be too scared. But yeah, what were you doing when 9/11 happened?

Sitting in class. I remember being glad that I got out of school early :?. Keep in mind that I was very young and didnt really undertand what happened.

I was at work and dumbstruck that it happened. I watched as the second plane hit and then again as the first tower collapsed. I had customers to take care of so I didn't have much time to watch everything unfold, but did see reruns of it later when I got home.

Teaching a group of eighth graders when the principal told us to turn on our TVs. One student commented that it was a boring show. :(Travo_basic

getting ready to go to the airport! flight was cancelled of course, watched on the TV...after 2 weeks of cancelled flights, i finally flew out in the middle of a tropical storm with a prop plane!!!

Then I got to school and was wondering what the heck everyone was talking about, since there seemed to be a monolithic discussion I wasn't in on.

I was sick that day, i didnt find out until the next day. Also, 9/11 wasnt that bad, more people die in africa of starvation everday. The problem was that it was the world trade center and alot of important people in importand countries died. And yes, im american.kipohippo021

Getting ready to go to school, was eating breakfast with the morning news on and it showed the planes hitting the twin towers. Was 13 at the time. There was an announcement at school that day about what happened if I remember correctly.

I was at school. I was wondering why everyone was glue to the TV, and there was a little chapel outside of the student union where someone set up a radio with quite a large gathering. It was a very strange day...
