Ten Years from now, I will be living off the royalty checks from one of my novels, and possibly writing freelance for a gaming publication of some sort.
I hope to also have a wife, children (I dont know how many) and a nice sized house somewhere in suburban Michigan (gotta get out of the city) or whereever life happens to take me.

That's an awfully optimistic viewpoint - most authors don't make much from their writing. But I wish you all the best in the pursuit of that dream.

Don't get me wrong, I don't really expect to be raking in millions of dollars or anything from my book sales, just enough to enable me to live comfortably.
