Aliens, A lot of people (including me) believe they are some where in the universe. But what would they look like? I dont think they have 16 tentacles or talk our language like in tv-shows. I think they would look like people never thought about. I think they are just a long thin line or something. Post here what you think 'aliens' look like. teamkinglike your phace!

YOU!!!!
I'll be honest with this discussion and not make a joke like all of you have (it seems). Well if we're speaking of aliens visiting us, I really believe they'd look like the ones you see in science fiction and movies, games, etc. because those are actually based on real accounts starting earlier in the 20th century, so I think they can well be what they actually look like. Their facial features and body stucture indicate because of their advanced technologies, they don't need a lot of the things we need, such as height, (much) muscles, and hair. Consequentially they developed much larger eyes and brains to go with their higher intelligence.
But just aliens as in any aliens? It depends if their world is older than ours, younger, and the geology that would shape the characteristics and stuff. I have no doubt their framework would be a lot like ours because that's the most beneficial for any organism. (you know, standing upright, two feet and two hands, etc.) So yeah, that's my beef.
[QUOTE="Brainkiller05"]I hope that's photoshopped...D9-THC
That's a child with a real disease (Progeria) that "ages" the body about ten times faster.
Not photoshopped...at least I don't think it is.
Interesting, I just figured it was from one of those Sci Fi movieschances are they'ld be some sort of bacteria like creature,
Has anyone thought that they might not reflect visiblelight and therefdore just a siloete

We won't know what they'll look like until we see actual aliens.:wink: Because of science fiction and human perception,we imagine them in our image,or as an altered version of an Earth animal,but really,they could look like anything.
If we're lucky, they'd probably humanoid and friendly, maybe even dare I say, cute and cuddly.
I wouldn't mind If we found Tribbles actually. I hope they're humanoid, but they're probably like whatever they're planet calls for. I just pray we don't find the thing.
I think it's possible for them to either A: Look radically different. or B: Look nearly identicle to humans. Think about it, what if the conditions for life are so strict that the planet has to be a damn near clone to Earth. And the conditions for becoming as intelligent as a human are just as strict that it has to be a near defensless mammal with intelligence as a substitute.
We very well could run into 5 different species with 2 arms, 2 legs, 2 eyes, a nose, 2 ears, a mouth, a couple ridges on their heads, 10 fingers and toes, and a translatable language. That, or we'll run into some thought-impossible metallic life-form in the middle of a vacuum on an asteroid orbiting a blackhole. Science doesnt know much in that department at this point....
The fact people even consider they look like humans (2 eyes, 2 arms, 2 legs) is ignorant beyond beleif.Brainkiller05
Why :|? Do you know what aliens look like?

Exactly. And who the heck said that other planets, solar systems and galaxies are like ours?? Has anyone been there?
