What would be your reactions if your first born was a different race?

Say you're at the hospital and when your first born baby came out you realized that it didn't look like you, it looked like a different race from you and the baby's mother.

How would you react? Would you just ignore it and continue loving that child regardless? Would you just remain calm but later on question it? Or would you just go crazy and cause a scene in the hospital?

you must have never had a kid...when my daughter was born she looked like an alien. She was blueish and slimy. Her hair grew black. Mother and father don't have black hair ! After a few months it turned blonde

She didn't look like me till she was years older and now she looks like a female version of me when I was her age.

Depends. If it was black and I and the mother were white, I'd be pretty mad but not make a scene, but if it looked more like her, then I wouldn't be angry. (I answered it like this because your title and thread aren't specific enough).m1993
